5 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Buccaneer Dinner
Damariscotta Baptist Church (Main and Bristol Sts.)
Everyone is invited to hear the tale of the Mystic Pirates O’ the Damariscotta and join in some salty singing of sea shanties (say that 3 times fast, with a pirate accent!) while enjoying an authentic pirate meal of real corned beef and Caribbean chicken with black beans and rice with salad.
7:30 p.m – Pirate Tales with The Lady in the Red Cloak
Enjoy a walk through in-town Damariscotta, by lantern light, hearing tales of pirates, ghosts, mysteries and hauntings of the area. Appropriate for all ages, lasting about 1 1/2 hours.

8 a.m. to 10 a.m- Pirate Pancake Breakfast at the Damariscotta Baptist Church.
10 a.m. – Pirate Rendezvous Opens
Pirate Bazaar at Schooner Landing with Live Music, Shopping and a Working Bladesmith
Kid’s Pirate Camp on Water St. with Games and Activities.
10:30 a.m. – Weapons Demonstration with the Black Rose Privateers
Learn about firearms, blades and cannon. See how the pirate re-enactors will use these during the event.
10:30 a.m. – Crew Muster at Pirate Bazaar
All re-enactors participating in event must be checked and qualified for blade and firearm safety.
High Noon – Pirates Attack!
Pick a spot to watch the pirates invade by ship and rampage through the town. Children are encouraged to join the pirates, and their search for hidden treasure.
1:30 p.m. – Pirate Costume Pet Parade
Enter your pet in the Pirate Costume Pet Parade beginning at the Pirate Bazaar and parading through the in-town area. Win gift certificates from Louis Doe’s Pet Center.
2:15 p.m. – Children’s Costume Parade
Children show off their costumes and “piratitude” beginning at the Kid’s Pirate Camp and marching through town to the Pirate Bazaar, where they will learn to talk like a pirate and join the Mystic Pirates.
3 p.m. – Treasure Hunt
Children join the pirates in seeking the hidden treasure of the Mystic Pirates, and once it’s found… Sharing in the spoils. The treasure chest is then marched through town and loaded onto the pirate ship.
4 p.m.- Volunteers and Re-Enactors Reception at the Pirate Bazaar
The audience is welcome to join the fun. Special discounts and awards for Volunteer and Re-Enactor of the Year.
5:00 p.m. – Event Ends
Variety of activities in-town throughout the evening.
